Why would you want a loan if you were unemployed? It\'s not like you can pay them back, and if they wanted they\'d send the bailiffs round to take everything you owned to make the money up.
If you were lending OUT money, why would you lend it to someone who had a bad history and was on the dole with no spare cash?
It doesn\'t make sense either way.
If you are really stuck for something important, the DSS will give you a loan, have you asked them? They might give you a grant.
Loans aren\'t really worth it, because if you borrow say £1,000, you can end up paying £3,000 back. So you end up worse off.
